February has been a great month! We served 1,460 people and we couldn’t have done it without your support.
Judi Wollenziehn, Librarian at Bishop Miege, organized Bishop Miege’s annual SOUPer Bowl. Students and staff brought in 675 cans of food for Uplift!
Holy Rosary – Wea Catholic School donated 50 Valentine “Socks of Love” for the homeless. Inside the socks were hygiene products and salt & pepper. We handed these out on February 13th & everyone was extremely excited to have a Valentine’s Day present.
Five members of the Sertoma Club of Kansas City volunteered with Uplift this month. We always enjoy their help!
Every Wednesday, Uplift picks up QuickTrip sandwiches from Harvesters to give to the homeless. Pat and Kathy loaded 20 boxes that day!
Church of the Resurrection delivered an entire pallet of canned stews, soups and fruit.
