What have we been up to?

We made 25 wreaths and delivered them to the homeless camps during the first week of December. The men & women were so excited to receive a Christmas decoration. It definitely brings joy and cheer to their living quarters.

Two elementary schools have provided holiday treats and Christmas socks for the homeless. We’ve delivered most of them & the rest will be handed out this weekend.

Our warehouse sort day was another success! We received lots of socks and thermal underwear.

We continue to pick up bread, rolls, sweets, etc… three times a week from a local grocery store which is a real blessing. The extra food really goes a long way for the homeless men and women.

Holy Spirit dropped off another car load of donations on Wednesday! You guys are awesome! Note: Several other donations were made – we just happened to have a camera handy to get a shot of this one. 🙂

Visitation Parish donated several large bags of winter items! The parish members put their donations under the Peace Tree at Church in exchange for a peace ornament handmade in El Salvador.

Look at all these blankets! Thank you Hospital Linen Services for continuing to donate blankets. These blankets mean the difference between life and death during the freezing nights.

Without these great donations, we wouldn’t be able to serve the 180 people (on avg.) each night we go out! Thank you!
